Why I do This

Life and all its transitions can be hard. Sometimes all we need is someone to guide us through and show us the path to make things easier.

I'm the daughter of a parent with strong emotional attachments to everything and is too overwhelmed to let any of it go. I'm the wife of an amazing man with ADD who struggles to keep his surroundings organized but doesn't know where things are if he puts them away. I've had "skinny" clothes and "just in case I gain the weight back" clothes and been too anxious to get rid of them. I've experienced pregnancy loss, navigating what to do with the nursery, and having to return purchases and cancel deliveries. I've moved 13 times between four states. I've downsized after a divorce, upsized to combine a blended family of five, and transitioned to being an empty nester.

I believe these experiences allow me to relate to whatever your situation is and to meet you where you are - with a caring heart, open mind, and no judgment.

The pivot

As was the case for many people, the pandemic was a time to go inward and reflect on what truly gave me joy and inspired me, and think about how I wanted to go forward in the "new normal". I decided that rather than continuing to organize on the side while maintaining my full time job, I would leave the corporate world and be a full-time professional organizer. My intuitive skill set of creating functional and efficient systems, and visually pleasing spaces for people truly gives me joy and fills my cup, and I know I am making a difference in people’s lives.
